    3. Also check in Williamson County...it was part of Milam, too. And also Coryell Co....it was carved out of Bell County but I don't remember the dates. Try this site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ussearch.htm In THE STORY of BELL COUNTY, TEXAS...LATHAM, pages: 135,136,137,262,268,519,660,889,910,972 FULLER: 106,136,179,260,281,336,368,498,509,583,666,701,745,767,813,933,934 Pages in common:136 I also remeber that many of the pioneers coming from the southern states came into Texas around Sabine Pass...spent a year or so in what was or became Orange Co., TX. I have errands to run but when I get back, I can check the above page numbers for you if you still need the information. I think...THINK...I may get to Bell County Cthouse this morning and will check in the Unclaimed Documents Index. If anyone gets to Milam County to check |marriage records and has some spare time. Please check and see if there is |a L. C. Latham married to a M. C. Fuller the year would be around 1871 or |very late 1870. We have checked the Bell County records with no luck, so I |am thinking maybe they were married across the line in Milam County |instead. They were not married in Alabama as far as we can tell. | |Thanks in Advance for any and all help |Debbie | | |==== TXBELL Mailing List ==== |The Bell County Genealogy And History Page Is At: |http://www.rootsweb.com/~txbell |
