I live almost three hours away, but hope to make at least two or three of the events. I believe my Deaver ancestors arrived in Bell County around 1870, in the Taylor Valley area. Three generations in my direct line lived there and there are still other Deaver descendents in the Belton area today. I have had some really productive research during my trips to Bell County.
