James D. McMahon was a lawyer who practiced in Belton during the 1880's. At least he had an office in the Kingsboro building in 1888. I believe Mr. McMahon was also a real estate investor on a larger than usual scale. His father, James B. McMahon, was a Methodist minister who lived in Central Texas. Does anyone know if there is any genealogical information on these McMahons in the Belton library the Waco library? Or even, per chance, living descendents? Any help will be appreciated.
