I recently found my great-grandfather's grave in Chrisman, TX, that's just outside of Caldwell. He was a Terry Traylor same as my father. My grandfather Willy and wife Alma are buried in Temple along with my father. I left Temple in 1953 and lost contact with all relatives still living there. My only living uncle is almost 80 and not very knowledgeable about his family in Temple, also he says that his father did not tell hom much about our family. I am new to the internet, but from what i have found there are a number of Traylors in Bell County that are kin to me. My cousin Doyle Traylor played football, a quarterback for Temple High in the early 50s, then went on to Baylor as a star quarterback in the mid 50s. I have talked to him, he is not very knowledgeable about our family either, kind of like some deep dark secret. I did find out in Caldwell that we had kin fighting on both sides during the Civil War, maybe there is where the deep dark secret lies. Now that I am retired from teaching high school, I am learning more about the internet and walking the cemeteries looking at graves and taking lots of pics. My doctor says that the walking is good for me, maybe so, I don't need the wheel chair or the cane anymore, but still limp. Well thanks again, I am looking forward to your reply Doug Traylor millien@gte.net ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
