Looking for ANY help on information concerning JimmieLee (Moore) Palmer. We have virtually hit that BRICK WALL in Genealogy searches!! Born JimmieLee Moore, she is my great grandmother. I believe born in Bell county in 1889, she married Hasting Palmer, (b. TN 1882, d. 12/17/1922 in Temple, TX). They had five children all born Temple, TX: Wilburn William, b. 9/8/1912, d. 6/26/1996, Mildred, b. 2/21/1914, d.?, MamieLee, b. 5/20/1917 in Belton, still living, Florence, b. 1/22/18, d.?, Gladys, b. 11/2/1920, d. 11/2/1990. By MamieLee's faint recollection, JimmieLee may have had siblings by the names of Robert (as remembered Uncle Bob), Cody (Aunt Cody/Codi), and William (Uncle Bill) Moore. My father also remembers Uncle Bob, Uncle Bill and Aunt Cody and that they lived together and were never married. JimmieLee took ill and was in a local nursing home and then sent to Austin State Hospital and we believe she died there in 1926. MamieLee distinctly remembers Uncle Bob coming into the room at his house where she and Florence were playing and saying, "Hush up, your mama just died". Since JimmieLee's children were still quite young and Hasting had passed away a four years prior, (Wilburn was 14, Mildred 12, MamieLee 9, Florence 8, and Gladys 6) they were sent to live with relatives (I believe separately) and much information was lost and/or forgotten. I only wish I began this project before my grandfather, Wilburn, passed away in 1996. At that time I did not know of ANY of his sisters, let alone the fact that MamieLee was alive and living in Louisiana (She was actually in Waco at the time of his death!). I have since made contact with one of MamieLee's daughters, Laverne and neither of us have been able to find any further information in our family history research on JimmieLee (Moore) Palmer. If anyone has any information we would GREATLY appreciate your help !! Roselyn
