My name is Joseph William Love Jr. (actually the 3rd). I live in Galveston. My father Joseph William Love was born in Bartlett in 1894, but grew up in Salado and Belton. His great grandfathers John Love, Blake Forehand, John Coffey Caskey, and Thomas Powe Chapman all settled near Matsler Community near Florence between 1851 and 1853. They bought adjoining land for farming and ranching. I have a lot of genealogy info on these families which I would share, and would like to have any info others have on these families.
