    3. My primary interest in Bell County is in tracing ancestors, Lindemann, Lange and Bartosh. I also have roots in Williamson County and have relatives in both counties. Andrew LINDEMANN immigrated to Galveston in 1855 from Germany. He moved to Houston, then on to Austin County, where he helped built the first cotton gin. He served as a Confederate Soldier and moved to Illinois after the war. He returned in 1866 and married Anna Schiller in Nelsonville, Austin Co., Tx. In 1882 he moved to Bell County and was charter member of the St. John’s Luthern Church. +Andreas LINDEMANN, b. 21 July 1812, Prussia, d. Sept. 3 1900 m. Sophia ? ++Andrew G.
