For All Subscribers: It's occurred to me, as the TXBELL Listowner, that one of the things I've NOT yet done (since there are 17 of you already!) is ask YOU folks what sort of "tone" you think the list ought to take... what would be of the most help to you (consensus)? When I set the list up I had in mind to provide a forum where subscribers could talk about resources they've found helpful. Where queries of a general nature could be asked (surname/people-specific need to go to the Query Board). Where maybe some of the history of Bell County could be presented and discussed (history is caused by people equals genealogy source). The Queries Board has over 350 questions people have had about specific folks here in Bell County... but not a lot of responses... and I'm wondering if that's because perhaps not a lot of Bell County information is in the public's hands where they can get to it.. which is the purpose of the Bell County Genealogy page from which you subscribed to this list! What would you folks like to see? What would be helpful to you, and not duplicate what the Query/Obits/Bios/Deeds/Wills/Pensions/Bibles Boards are provided to do?
