    3. Howdy Sherry.. ----Original Message Follows---- From: Sherry Davis-Ellis <bluefairies@uswest.net> ----Snip--- So if it is going to be computerized, what does that mean exactly? Sincerely Sherry Davis-Ellis Arizona, USA What I'll be looking for from the organizations for whom I'm acting as webmaster (at least for the moment) is content for their web page that has already been typed into a computer and is ready for importing into the webpage. It will be in a format I won't have to convert into something my computer can read, and won't involve having to type the content myself (or a volunteer). That way, if the organization decides to remove, modify, or add material, it will be all their time that will be affected. East Bell County Genealogical Society has started up with that expectation, and it's working okay. It also gives the organization more "ownership" and interest in the page content. I will still doing edited as needed to get the content to work with the webpage, since there are sometimes effects caused when a webpage displays in your internet brower that were (or weren't) in the orginal content!! Since I'm not from Bell County, and have no ancestors/relatives here, I can't really generate good content, except from previously-published sources, so I hope either published resources will be converted for internet use, or folks will begin providing material tailored for various organization webpage audiences. We'll see how things work out. Bell County has an interesting history, and interesting people, and I'd hope other folks will want to see more of that being made available to the world via the various Bell County webpages.
