    1. Re: [TXBELL-L] Bowles/Pate
    2. Jody: I have a book of over 400 pages of BOWLES/PATE/BOLLING/WEBBER/ & TOWNSEND information, and their connections. Where do I start? I will soon have a lineage sheet on my Bowles Site, on Myfamily.com, but it isn't quite ready. Shouldn't I send this to your home E-mail or is this something that TXBELL is interested in? The lineage goes something like this. John Bowles, 1 John Bowles, 11 John Bowles, 111 b. abt 1648, m. Jane Benjamin Bowles, b. abt. 1690 d. 1767-68 m. Nancy M. Benjamin Bowles, b. 1720 d. 1768, m. Mary Elizabeth Webber, 1722-1807 John Bowles, b 21 May 1747, Hanover Co. VA. m. Mary Redford, dau. of William (John is said to be a Rev. War Soldier in Va.) John M.Bowles, b.1769, VA. m. Frances (Fanny) Bolling, b. 1774, d. 1869, TN. (John fought at Battle of Horsebend, in Ala. during the Creek War of 1812-1815.) Children: John, Martha, Joseph, Lucinda, James, William, Mary, Frances T. John Bowles, b. 1802, m. Millie Caroline Pate, in 1824, MS. Moved to Bell Co. TX. by 1850. (Known as, "HOG MY CAT" Bowles.) Children: Nancy Adaline, Hiram R., James Frank, Pricilla, John Booker, Frances (Fanny), Mary Jane, William B. (Doke), Greenville, Caroline, David Crockett, Emmaline, Mariah Elizabeth. The is a sample of the lineage and is all mostly up-to-date. So tell me what you need. Minabat@aol.com
