While looking through my McDowell Family I notice a Caroline Bowles of Bell County marrying John McDowell. She is the daughter of John Bowles and Millie Pate. She and Joh had eleven children. I have info on them. Also have a David Crockett Bowles married to Martha Ann Jordan, another McDowell descendent. If these are part of your Bowles or Pates, I will be happy to share.
