Actually, there are Sesquicentennial events going on throughout the year. Tomorrow's event involves rededicating the remodeled old courthouse in Belton at "Bell County Day." This is the actual anniversary of Bell County, on January 22. There's also a 4th grade poster exhibit opening that day at 201 Main. The April 22 event is called the Charter Oak Celebration. It includes: - Planting of oak tree at Bell County Courthouse - Family Picnic in the Park - 2-4PM Opening of the Sesquicentennial Exhibit at the Bell County Museum 201 N. Main Belton, TX For a complete list of the Sesquicentennial events this year, go to: http://www.vvm.com/sqc/events.html Joe D.
