Mina, The Pate family neighboring us: A childless couple, man's name was Red and his wife [name escapes me] was a school teacher. Red had a brother named Elmo [wife is Lydabeth-living]. Elmo's son, Frank, is now the owner of the Pate property [currently 100 acres, which has been up for sale]. Prior to her death, Mrs Red Pate sold 75 acres to KISD. A school was built two years ago. Frank Pate said the cemetery is not in the Pate name. No graves have been added since the 1890s. Sorry, no Pates are buried there. I miss Mrs Pate. Charlotte [McEwen] Allman
