I talked with a long time friend today. She is sending a copy of an 1859 abstract of her land. This land neighbors the Pate property. On this old abstract, she says the word school is near one corner of their property. The Mtn View school operated for 68 years. Another piece of the big puzzle. This friend says you two are good people and I'm near the same old age as you :-) So... I hear by give you the Betsy Hilliard seal of approval. I bet your ears were just a burning!
