    3. Nancy, I found several Harris'--but no John W or J W.....and no Minnie or with the children you listed... If you will send me whatever info you have on this family I will watch out for them...There are some Harris buried in Reeds Lake Cemetery. Sorry I didn't find your John W. What was Minnie's maiden name? I know the frustration of elusive ancestors. We have our David Underwood in Grimes County in 1850, Brazos in 1860, he was with Elmore's Regiment in Galveston in the CSA, can't find him anywhere in 1870 and have him in Bell County in 1880 where he died in 1883 and is buried in Reeds Lake Cemetery.
