Hello List, I'm a new member to the list today. I have just received new information that some of my family may have been in Bell Co. in the late 1890's-up. What was my first thought, try the mailing list they are always so helpful. I am looking for a John Burchell and family from Grainger Co. TN. They were suppose to be in or around the Temple TX area. Is there anyone who could look up any of the census or cemetery records on them for me? John Burchell born abt 1857 Grainger Co TN married Nancy Caroline Roach, Sept 2, 1874 in Grainger Co TN. His father was a James Burchell and mother Catherine unknown. Nancy born-Oct 27,1850, is reported to have died June 24, 1938 in Temple, no dates for John. A younger brother of John Burchell, Robert Franklin(Frank) Burchell and his wife Elizabeth (Lizzie) Fralix Burchell, also was reported to have come to TX after 1900 to find his brother John, but was also never heard of again. Any help would be truly appreciated. I live in Northern Illinois, but have much material on Wayne Co IL , in southern part of state, which is where my husband's family is from and I have access to the IL Death Index 1919-1948 if I can help anyone with anything.
