He was born in about 1858 in Hunt County Texas. His parents were Elbert E. Standlee and Martha Elizabeth Moore Standlee. He was living with his father in Williamson County Texas in the 1880 Federal Census. He was known as Filanda Standlee. I have him signing a land document in Bell County Texas in 1880/1. He married Mrs. Dora B. Bernard August 1, 1883 in Bell County Texas. P. J.'s brother was my great grandfather.
