Surnames: Williams, Ferguson, Robinson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CkB.2ACI/1992.3 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information on Alice Cora Williams, whose family arrived in Bell County in 1883 from Alabama. According to information I have, she was born in 1871. At some point after arrival in Bell County, she married a man named Cox, I have the initials J.M. but I am not certain about the accuracy of that info. They had two children named Robbie and Frank. I do not know when Robbie was born, but Frank was born in 1894 and died in 1896. He is buried next to his grandmother in the Dallas Cemetery near Holland. Robbie may be a nickname for Robert. At some point, Alice Cora Cox was either widowed or divorced. An obituary of her brother written in 1935, lists her as a survivor living in Cameron, Texas. She was listed as Mrs. J.O. Hightower. I have been unsuccessful in locating her in any census record after 1880, or a marriage record for either marriage. I hope you might locate a Cox - Williams marriage record, and perhaps a death record for Cox. Larry Wilson
