Samuel Hodges and Nancy Wood Hodges from Pontotoc. Sallie's children were Zona, Ethel Mae, James C., Raleigh--dates correct as you have them, I think--but Merle was definitely a girl, and born 1904. Gober was born 1906, and was my Grandfather. A few years back I connected with the Rogers in Brownwood who connected a lot of the dots with the Wood family. I knew that Samuel and Nancy had moved to Brown County from Mississippi, but didn't know she was a Wood, and that so much of the Woods had moved with them until my new Rogers cousin told me about it.
