Hopefully to someone on the list that may have more info on this family. This is my ggrandfather's brother. It's not that I'm getting nowhere with him but that I'm looking for a NA connection and that's getting me basically nowhere. So decided to try with other family members. On the 1860 Bell Co. census: J. J. TUCKER 38 M TN Stock Trader Sarah TUCKER 35 F VA Laura 15 F TN Wm. TUCKER 13 M TN Lucinda TUCKER 9 F TN M.E. TUCKER 6 F TN S.R. TUCKER 5 F TN Emma TUCKER 3 F TN This is Jonathan Jackson's second wife and he was born in NC not TN. The first three children are by his first wife Elizabeth. on the 1850 Warren Co TN census children are listed as Laura A. 5, William C.S.3, and Amanda L. P. 2. J. J. is listed as a Wagon Maker. There's also another brother I can't account for, Jesse H. TUCKER b. 1835 Warren Co TN, I suspect he may have ended up in Texas, too. I'm wondering, why the move to TX between 1850 and 1860 and did this have anything to do with Indian migration. I don't know what you can do to advise me but it's worth a long shot.
