This would be the Isaac B. Warren (b 1854 d 1934) and Mary "Alice" Coons family. He was married before Alice, and had children from that marriage as well. I have a photo of a ?(sorry, in a box) Dooley, and my aunt identified her as a cousin. Let me know if this is your group. I have just started on this side of my husband's family and they don't have much info. Isaac B. Warren may have been my husband's great grandfather. Is Isaac's daughter's name Gladys? Did they live in Texas? And was he either a hardware storekeeper, or sheriff, or meat market storekeeper? Do you know anything about the Dooley's? (Gladys married Clarence Boyd Dooley in the '20s) Thanks for responding to my post, Sally ______________________________Date: 26 Jun 2006 14:05:03 -0600 From: cmycats@austin.rr.com To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: DOOLEY, WARREN, BOYD families This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Everytime I try to research on mom's side of the family people run and hide. Ok, so the photo i have is of Gladys' daughter. Isaac B. Warren lived in Belton during the 1920 and 1930 census years. I believe i have that he was fire chief in Belton. There is a photo of the fire department in the History of Bell County - guessing on the name of the book. (moved, everything in a box). If you can see my email, write me, and maybe we can work together on these families. There were 10 children, but i think maybe 3 from the previous marriage. I am still sorting. I have another DOOLEY family on my father's side. It isn't a direct-line for me, but is a huge brick wall. They probably connect because the other Dooley was in Milam County. I have a couple of nice photos of Mary Alice Coons and her sisters, and one of two of their mother. They were a close-knit group. ______________________________Date: 27 Jun 2006 00:03:11 -0600 From: Doodleydo2@aol.com To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: DOOLEY, WARREN, BOYD families This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. 3. The 1930 City Director for Belton shows Warren, I. B., City Alderman, Ward 2; wife, Mary, Ph. 296, 814 E. Central. There were several other Warrens listed, but the only two at that address ( I would guess their children) were Robert and Thelma. There was also an entry for A. E. Warren, County Tax Collector, at the same address. The directory lists several members of the Dooley family, but none named Clarence Boyd or Gladys. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jo Graf To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2006 7:23 PM Subject: [TXBELL] Re: TXBELL-D Digest V06 #82 This may be your Warren Family, if you don't have access to this I will transcribe for you if you think this is the right family. 1910 Census Belton Bell Co.TX I.
