His daughter was Allen DOW's mother. Allen was actually a junior. His dad died of TB fairly young but I believe he (Allen, Senior) was divorced from the Rather's daughter. I never figured out what happened to her or why the Rather's were raising their grandson. The DOW's are my ancestors. Did you find any additional information about any of these folks?
