    3. For those researching the Dallas Cemetery, the following obit appeared in the Bartlett Tribune and News on Friday, December 12, 1913. Grandma Ford Dead Yesterday afternoon, about 1:30 o'clock, Mrs. Ford, familiar- ly known as Grandma Ford, sud- denly expired at her home in this city. She had been sick for the past week, confined to her bed, but her condition was not considered serious. While the family were at dinner she at- tempted to rise from her bed and fell---never regaining conscious- ness, and soon her spirit was called where "the weary are at rest." Mrs. Ford was 82 years of age, and was among the oldest set- tlers of this section, ahving re- sided in Bartlett with her son, Ed Ford, and her daughter, Mrs. Wright, for many years. She was a member of the Christian church, a good neighbor, a lov- ing mother, who will be greatly missed. Her husband preceeded her to the grave several years ago. She leaves one son and two daughters to mourn her death. They are: Ed Ford, Mrs. Wright, Bartlett, and Mrs. J. D. Jackson, Alpine. To the bereaved we extend our sympathy. May a kind Provi- dence be over them, and may they so live that when the sum- mons shall come, they will be re- united iwth the one for whom they now mourn. Mrs. Ford's remains will be laid to rest in the Dallas ceme- tery, near Holland tomorrow.
