    3. I have been seeing an ad on eBay for the 1976 pictorial history of Bell County. It is a wonderful book with lots of information, and right now the only bid is from a book store. I always hate to see those books go to stores who are going to charge exorbitant prices. There is also a 1942 Criminal Docket book from Bell County. I can't imagine how the book got out of official hands and ended up in San Diego, but it certainly should be returned to the proper place. Frances

    3. Actually, I saw that one when it went up for bid, if you are talking about the "Bell County Revisited" book. I managed to acquire a copy myself a couple of years ago and it's one of my favorites for Bell County. The Temple Jaycees put out several good historical publications for Bell. I see there are several more bids now on that auction. Joe D.
