    3. There is a South Belton Cemetery. It is about a half-mile south of the Bell County Courthouse on Penelope Street. Cemetery contains about 350 graves. It is not in good shape. Has been vandalized and there isn't much effort being put into cleaning it up. Cemetery also known as Conferedate Cemetery for the high number of Confederate veterans buried there. I have a 1968 list of burials in the cemetery and your grandmother is not on the list. However, the most recent burial listed is for 1938. I don't know if that was the last burial or the listmaker of the list I found just didn't list all the people buried there.
