Hi Virginia, I will be happy to inform you of the reunion. My grandmother to whom I grew up with was a Lemmons & she came from a family of 8 siblings & she was the first born. Around 12-14-99, I posted a message on Ancestry.com saying "Looking for Mattie & Annie Lemmons from Belton TX" Low & behold, on 12-23, I heard from Mattie Lemmons daughter named Pat! I had no idea that Mattie could ever be alive but, she is 89 years old! You talk about "EXCITEMENT"! :) You see I never knew her or about any other Lemmons. Pat said that ,Mattie had just ask her to find my dad on the net & they did not know he had died 9-98. So, we are in contact & they also mentioned about going to the Lemmons reunion in September. I hope to meet you there as well! I have been trying to find out who puts the reunion together I have called the Temple Newspaper but they keep no records of those who place an ad, then I placed a plea on the Bell county site. Been in contact with the president of the local genealogy society & so far, no success. But I will find them & when I do I will let you know. Tell me Virginia, where do you live? I live in Houston.
