I am searching for further information regarding Robert Bonner Halley, who lived in Salado, Bell Co., Texas. He married Lydia Anderson Ederington on Aug 16, 1849 in Lenark, Bradley Co., Arkansas. They moved to Texas around 1853+/-. They had 8 children. Robert served in both the Mexican and Civil War. He appeared to be prominent in Salado when he was alive. Any information would be appriciated. Also does anyone have any information on John Boyd (Burton) Harrell who married Sara Jane Ederington (sister to Robert Halley's wife). They were married Apr 28 1874 in Salado, Bell Co., Texas. They had 5 children: John Robert b. Apr 11, 1880 in Williamson Co., Tx. Harry Lee Harrell, b. July 24, 1878 and died June 1976. Joseph Gray Harrell b. May 23, 1882 Mattie Fannie Harrell b. July 25, 1875 d. Jan 31, 1882 James Hubert Harrell b. 1886 d. Jan 17, 1890. John Boyd's parents are Joseph (Joe) R. Harrell b. abt 1830 in Warren Ga. married Martha Hubert on May 1847 in Warren Ga. Besides John Boyd, they had one other boy that I am aware of. His name is Joseph A. b. 1849.......
