Actually, it is in Bell County, though you are correct that it is near Seaton. I was out that way a couple of years ago when photographing Dyess and Dyess Grove Cemeteries. Really not any town left from what I could see, just a locale. Dyess Grove Church was stil there next to the cemetery and was definitely still in use. String was probably short for Stringtown. I have not found it on a map, but it's on my DeLorme Atlas program.
