I don't beleive either I or mama hart knew about Sara Elizabeth Ward when she was talking about cherokee linage. she did say her cherokee people had left the tribe but she had hard feelings handed down about how her people were treated on the trail of tears.We were hoping Wyatt's son Tippie was on the web as we have a lot of pictures during Wyatt's war servicein Germany. There was a stockburger in his outfit that knew there was a village of stockburg and went there. I was able to contact his family in New York and afer thirty years traced my line back to stockburg. Up in Southeast Missouri the pople admit they din't appear on any cherokee roll, but they havea cheroketrails organazation with a lot of ineresting material on the web. Mama Hart did make some interestng staements but I have alredy receivedsome e mails about proof and i wi ll have to study them carefully.
