Note from George Patrick: The above information was taken from the website belonging to the following individual-- The Keahey clan are a Sept of the Clan Donald of Scotland. The first documented trace that we have of our ancestors is in Richmond County, North Carolina, where William MacKeachey and his son's John, James and George appear on the 1780 census. We are searching for any information from William back to Ireland and Scotland. Most of the information that I have is taken from the "Keahey Clansman" and the "Keahey Clansman Revisited", by Emma Barrett Reeves, which have been out of print since the late 60's to early 70's respectively. Addition information and updates are from you, our family. If you have any additional information or updates please feel free to contact us so we can keep these pages current.
