The 1880 census you mention is Caldwell County not Burleson. Mary's, the mother and wife of Benjamin, birthplace was crossed thru. Hard to read the birthplace of John R's and Samuel's parents birthplaces. In the 1870 census they are in Caldwell Co, Lockhart Post Office, page 130, HH 877-889. Lists: Benj, age 67 born SC Mary, age 61 born GA John R., age 22 born TX Samuel, age 19 born TX HH 877-890 next door: Susan, age 37 born AL Walter P, age 17 born TX Benj, age 15 born TX Wm, age 13 born TX Annie, age 12 born TX Joseph, age 7 born TX HH 878-891 next door: Jasper, age 24 born TX Matilda, age 1 born TX. I didn't find them in the 1860 in TX. I was checking the Heritage Quest site, maybe someone could search Ancestry if a member. Gayle Fuller Boggess Katy, TX
