Brother Jack Smith of Slaton, Sister Thelma Friend of Tyler. Friends may call after 9am Tuesday at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville. Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday at the Bellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Buford Finley officiating. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville. In lieu of usual remembrances, friends who wish may make memorial gifts to the Bellville United Methodist Church.
