Larry, I am researching my Southwell ancestors. My great grandmother Fanny Southwell had an older sister named Emma Southwell. Emma married a man named Thomas Dan Williams in Belton in 1886. The two were married by John Southwell my great great grandfather. I don't know anything about the Williams family and I would like very much to learn something. Emma and Thomas did adopt a daughter named Inez. She must have married but I don't know her married name. I think that Thomas Dan Williams was from or had father or mother from Alabama.
