My mother told my nephew about a Surname of Sexton. I know this a real long shot. I believe my grandfather is buried in/near Belton has he died either Feb. 11 or March 11, 1920 from consumption. He was married to Willie Hester Locke. Their children were: Wister Allen Smith Ethel Smith Henry Homer Smith, Jr. Wilson Bankston Smith. Can you tell me more about this Gene Smyth? My adopted mom told me that my grandfather may have change his name. She thought it was suppose to have been spelled Smyth(e) or something to that effect. I have been researching my grandfather for about 20 years off and on. My adopted mom thought there was some skeletons in the closet. I hope to hear from you.
