Pamalea (seems like a girl) but with Patrick ??? ... but the mother was Lola Eugene ??? I see by the cemetery records, Pamalea died. I am astonished that Bobby was in the Navy. He was caught after the band robbery and did go to prison, but we do not know for how long ... nor where he was. The FMH in Shelby County in 1917 ... is Bobby and JB's dad ... Francis Marion Hooper [3]. His dad was [2] and is my g-dad; and my g-g-dad ... Pawpaw's father was [1]. We designate Bobby [4]. I even have a handwritten letter from Uncle Frank [3] to his dad written on November 11, 1917 from Camp Travis, TX. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A LIST OF THE COUNTIES IN TX, without going to mapquest or a paper map. I want that info on my computer at all times. I have heard of Fannin Co. ... I think. Although that is the name of a street in Houston; but Houston is in Harris Co. Beaumont and Port Arthur are in Jefferson. Maybe I will look at TX on rootsweb. Calcasieu Parish, LA ... where I live ... had an application that you had to fill out to get a marriage license. That application has a lot of information on it; ie: parents name; alive or dead; applicants education; former marriages ... if more than one, last spouse; birthdate, birthplace ... and on and on. Sure is a treasure to find one like that. I do research in Cameron and DeSoto Parishes in LA ... and they do have that attached to the marriage license record.
