    3. Try this for a list of counties. There is a map at the top but an alphabetical list at the bottom of the page. Also if you move your mouse over the map the county name appears. http://www.county.org/counties/txcounties.asp Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: <Butch9436@aol.com> To: <TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 3:12 PM Subject: Re: [TXBELL] Obituary Lookup/Hooper > In a message dated 8/1/2006 1:54:40 PM Central Standard Time, > deeno@sysmatrix.net writes: > Pamalea Patrick Scully b Oct 1 1934 Jefferson Co to Lola Eugene Adams and > Frances Aloysius Scully > Merci beaucoup (Thanks a bunch). 3. I often refer to the Handbook of Texas Online when I'm trying to locate a county. Just type in the county name, and an article will come up. The first few sentences explain the county's location, county seat, and surrounding counties. It's always a big help to me! http://www.tsha.utexas.edu/handbook/online/ Amanda -----Original Message----- From: mld71124 [mailto:mld71124@dukenet.us] Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 4:24 PM To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TXBELL] Obituary Lookup/Hooper Try this for a list of counties.
