As David Morgan has stated, this information is already online, via the Texas State Archives. When I first heard about it, I was not too crazy about it either. However, keep in mind that the only information included is name, birthdate, gender, and county. No parental or Social Security information. TXGenWeb is simply breaking the information down by county for their archives. This will especially be valuable for the next generation of researchers. I am definitely looking into projects to transcribe the census and more cemetary records. If you are interested in participating, please let me know. Joe D. I don't want my full name, birthdate, and mother's maiden name posted! Only one missing item, my SS #, and the wrong person has the keys to several of my financial data kingdoms. When I'm dead, it'll be fine, but not now. With all of the historical data such as old census records, marriages, etc. waiting to be entered online, why waste time and resources posting private data of living persons? This is going way too far. Sincerely, Cindy cindfunk@home.com

There will be a lot more added. The birth records are from 1926-1995, and I think the death records are 1964-1998 David dmorgan@efn.org David W.
