    2. Good to hear from you Joe! My husband and I went to the Charter Oak festivities. We enjoyed all, especially seeing the Old Oak Tree and hearing the speakers at the 9:30 event. We both wore blue ribbons but I saw only one other and it was on a man taking a nap in his car parked outside the Court House. Wonder who this could have been???? The Court House really looks great and we enjoyed the old pictures too. Eating in the Park and listening to the music was fun, also. I felt very proud to be a decendant on the 1841-55 time period. 3. The only other person I located with a blue ribbon was John Galure. I parked two blocks away from the courthouse, so it was not me snoozing...heh. Did you stand up with the rest of the pioneer descendents at the Charter Oak? Joe D.
