Hello list, Would anyone on the Bell Co. list be able to tell me if there is a record of a Marshall P. Rogers(Rodgers) dieing there? We have several members of our Rogers branch who married in Bell County (William Alford Rogers md Martha Rogers - November 24, 1878), (William Hull Kuykendall md. Sarah Elizabeth Rogers - July 27, 1879), (Joel Benjamin Rogers md. Mary Emma Bartley - March 22, 1880) as well as others. Marshall P. Rogers moved his family into McLennan Co., TX around 1870 after moving out of Jackson Parish, LA where some of the fierce fighting of the Civil War was taking place. He and family were on the 1870 Census in McLennan Co. and the family lived in several of the counties from there to Bell Co. I haven't been able to find a death record for him or his wife Sarah yet and I know that Sarah was in Bell Co. but can't find out if Marshall was there as well.
