Along the same line, my ancestor and his brother were Civil War Veterans out of Jefferson County, Alabama who eventually settled in Bell County, Texas. I believe there was a Civil War Veterans group that met in Bell County and David Hembree was the chaplain at some time. I would love a photo of that group.
