There is only one census (1860) online for Bell County and it is still in progress. The West Bell County Genealogical Society has it at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~txwbgs/1860.htm One of my the projects I hope to start this year is soliciting volunteers to transcribe the various census records for Bell County. Several of the TXGenWeb counties have a good relationship with SK Publications, a company which digitizes census pages onto CD. I am currently gathering the specifics on the project, which I will post soon and see what our users here think about it. Joe D.
