Jack Turner married Julia BROWN and they first lived in Upshur County. She was the aunt of Dr. T. J. ALLISON. I believe they first moved to Ellis County and later to Bell County. They had 6 children: Oscar, Joe, Monroe, Fannie, Eula and Ida. Eula married a Mr. SUBER. Jack Turner died in 1874. After his death Julia married a Mr. SHIELDS, and lived for a few more years. In Dr. Allison's autobiography, he says they settled about five miles east of Belton. I am assuming they never returned to Upshur County, and are buried somewhere around there. Thanks for any help.
