I am looking for descendants of Sam Houston Blankenship and his wife, Sara C. [Dona or Donie] Miller Blankenship. Sam was born in Feb. of 1858 and was the son of Francis Marion Blankenship and Susan A. Bryant. Sam died in 1915 and is buried at the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, Texas in Bell County. Sara was born in October of 1863 in Texas and died in 1945 and is buried at the Rogers Cemetery in Rogers, Texas in Bell County. Sara was the daughter of Harvey B. Miller and Cecila Ann Fortenberry Miller [later Johnson]. Sam and Sara Blankenship had nine children. They were: 1. Don R. Blankenship born Feb. 1883 in Texas; 2. Lulu L. Blankenship born Oct. 1885 in Texas; 3. Dora Bell Blankenship born Nov. 1, 1887 in Texas and died May 14, 1888 in Texas. She is buried at the Bryant Station Cemetery in Milam County; 4. Marion A. Blankenship born May 1889 in Texas; 5. Todd M. Blankenship born Jan. 1892 in Texas; 6. Gail C. Blankenship born July 1893 in Texas; 7. Dallas Blankenship born Jan. 1896 in Texas. He was a judge in Texas; 8. Ona Blankenship born May 1898 in Texas; 9. Ollie L. Blankenship born Feb. 1900 in Texas. Any help in finding this family would be much appreciated and any of their descendants. I am the GG Grand daughter of Cecila Ann Fortenberry Miller Johnson and her second husband Redden H. Johnson.
