    3. Yes, they are on microfilm. I got mine thru my local LDS Family History Center for $3 - $4. Libraries should be able to get them also. I believe that the roll number is on the Index page. 3. I will try. Let me get with my Aunts and Uncles who keep the cemetery for more information. I believe that is a different group of Lewallen's. Depending on who you talk to in the family it could be spelled Lewellen instead f Lewallen. Moses Alexander Lewallen (Lewellen) started a family cemetery on his farm in the Bottoms community about 9 miles northeast of Temple. His wife was Margaret Elizabeth Rainwater. Joseph Arthur married their daughter Fannie Lewallen. It is mostly used by family, but on occasion they have let close friends buried their folks there. For the longest not a blade of grass was allowed to grow there. Any grass or weed was quickly removed. As my mother and her siblings have gotten older they have planted grass there for easier upkeep and to minimize erosion. I am also a little worried about the risk to the cemetery by the Trans-corridor-highway being planned. Families related are: Lewallen Rainwater Hemphill Burns Thompson Joe Burns -----Original Message----- From: Joe D. At one time I thought about doing this but my mother was adamemt about me not. I spent many a time growing up cleaning this cemetery. It was originally started by Moses Lewallen and was called the LEWALLEN cemetery for a long time. It has been in the Arthur family for the past three generations, and the name was changed to Arthur Cemetery when the 911 system changed the rural addressing. I know of one person who has been moved from the cemetery. Also I believe there are some unmarked graves on the far end of the cemetery. Joe

    1. Land Sales Index - William Lumpkin/s, Irena T. (Lumpkin/s) Center, Richard Austin Center, and John A. Center
    2. Lee Anne Center
    3. Does anyone on the list have an index to Bell County and Travis County that would list land indentures/sales? Does anyone on the list have a probate/administration list for Bell County or Travis County TX that would list William Lumpkin/Lumpkins (or variant spelling). I'm looking for 1880 - 1915 or 16 land sales by William Lumpkin/Lumpkins/Lumkin/Lumkins, Irena T. (Lumpkin) Center, and sons Richard Austin Center and John A. Center. The Bell County sales would have been in or around Killeen, most likely. I'm also looking for probate/administration for William Lumpkin after 1880 and by 1890 or so. I'm also wondering if there is a sale for Edward R. Center (Irena's husband) as part of a probate after his Civil War death 1 Sept. 1864. Lee Anne
