Ola Mae Barfield Sept. 12, 1918 — Sept. 1, 2004 CAMERON — Services for Ola Mae Barfield, 85, of Cameron are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Green-Patterson Funeral Home. The Rev. John Self will officiate. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Green-Patterson Funeral Home. Mrs. Barfield died Wednesday in a Temple hospital. She was born in Cameron and lived in Cameron for most of her life. Mrs. Barfield was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wilson Barfield, and a daughter, Melissa Rose Tanner. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Frank Barfield of Enid, Okla., and Wilson Barfield of Forgan, Okla.; two daughters, Charlene B. Little of Richlands, Va., and Nelda Sue Smith of Rogers; a brother, Jack Pratt of Cameron; two sisters, Janie Pouncey of Cameron and Altha Padgett of Petersburg, Ind.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Can anyone tell me who S. L. Redding was? S. L. Redding vouched in Bell Co. TX on 3 December 1866 for Irena T. Center, the widow of Edward R. Center? S. L. Redding said that Irena was the wife of Edward R. Center and that she was present at the birth of Irena and Edward's son John A. Center 14 November 1856. There is a Sarah Redding, [b. Oct. 1821 (age 79) TN TN TN], listed as mother-in-law to James Warrick [b. Oct 1840 (age 59) TN TN TN] in the 1900 District 18, Justice Precinct 2, Bell County, TX federal census. Her daughter is the James' wife Mary Jane? [b. Nov. 1845 (age 54) TN TN TN]. Does anyone know if this is the same person as S. L. Redding, or a different one?
