Hello: Anyone able to find info regarding: Carrie GABBARD (nee BARTLEY) b.1892 Upolu, Western Samoa, Pacific Islands d.1971 Ventura, CA, USA Per SSDI, last residence is: 76544 (Killeen, Bell, TX). Per www.familysearch.org: Carrie m.1925 Fagatogo, Tututila, Am.Samoa, to Benjamin H. GABBARD of Kentucky. I haven't checked military records but family history has it Benjamin is in the US Navy. I can't say for sure if that is why he is in Am.Samoa at that time. Shortly after marriage a child is born 1929 - Sarah Ann. Anyone can check 1930 census and tell me where the GABBARD Family is residing? I wonder how long they resided in Texas? Is there a naval base close by? Omg... looking at a map Killeen is almost smack dab in the middle. I use to stay in Dallas/Ft. Worth and that was far enough away from everything for me.
