Bill, I hope you will loosen up a bit; relax and chatter with us. I love this site. The chatter is what makes it personal almost like family. Besides that I have picked up some interesting County information. This site is not restricted to geneaology . Many subjects are discussed and appreciated. Reba
Please unsubscribe me from this site. There is too much chatter and it is filling up my email with stuff I am not interested in. Thanks. Bill Love.

I have a scanner. I have a printer. I have a Dell computer that could keep track of the Book of Life, including everyone's e-mail addys. I just don't know how to "daisy-chain" the scanner into the printer and thusly into the CPU. I was raised a Mac user. PCs astound and awe me. With a Mac, life is so simple [I was a scanning fool!], but with a PC, everything has to be so complicated. My instruction books are, respectively, 4 and 1/2 inches thick and 6 inches thick. Also, I am pretty much confined to crutches and a wheelchair and this gives me something to do that is, hopefully, of some use to someone "out there". Bill has a scanner and I think he will, when he gets to that point, try to scan the pictures from SBOCT so he can put them in the "family album" part that will eventually be part of the site. Thanks for suggesting it...now you have made me ashamed of myself...I will go read my books and see if I can figure out how to get the scanner going. "They" say confession is good for the soul...but I'm not sure how good it will be for my computer when I start messing with its present state of workingness. q;-) MA -----Original Message----- From: Phillip Maynard <maynard@hti.net> To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com <TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, June 23, 1999 1:26 PM Subject: Re: [TXBELL-L] Query Board Responses |Mary Ann - | |Wouldn't it be easier to buy a scanner and scan the 1052 pages? |Ann | |---------- |> From: MaryAnn Bartlett <bartlett@vvm.com> |> To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com |> Subject: Re: [TXBELL-L] Query Board Responses |> Date: Wednesday, June 23, 1999 1:24 PM |> |> There are three DAVISI in the SOBCT book.
