    3. I appologize for whinning to the list. That is not what the list is for. I'm sorry. So many of us have worked so hard and many of you that live in other states have been so kind to offer additional material on some of the families. I have been seriously neglecting my own family research and I think I will spend some time on that. You guys hang in here with Bill. He is really a great guy and was involved to share information to those that do not live in this area of the state or do not live in the state. I will be around and you have my email address if you need help and if I can give it. 1. [TXBELL-L] German Evangelical Church
    2. deeno
    3. Hi all, My first post here. I am looking for the German Evangelical Church that would have been in (probably) Temple in the 1880's. I have George W. Fritz marrying there in 1885 and then D. C. Fritz marrying in 1887. The person that performed the marriages was Rev. L. Schaefle. I am wondering if this church is still in existence, by a different name perhaps. I would like to get the records of those two marriages in hopes that there are some parents' names on them. George Fritz married Miss Annie Cynthia Thomas(grandaughter of Samuel Cooksey, 1880 Bell Co). They are buried in Hillcrest Cem. along with Samuel Cooksey and his wife, Cyntha. D. C. Fritz married Miss Mary J. Johnson(no other info on them). Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks, Rayedene Graves

    1. [TXBELL-L] Story Of Bell County
    2. Bill Bost
    3. Howdy TXBELL Listers.. Interesting... apparently when I asked the Bell County Historical Commission (BCHC) for permission to put BCHC publications on the BCHC page (which was granted), and would begin with the Story of Bell County (SOBC), it was not understood that I meant eventually all of it. I gather there is some stress about the book being made available free to the internet, instead of just via sales. I have agreed to remove the SOBC entirely from the BCHC page for now, pending further discussion, and will be waiting for follow-on about the family histories that have been put onto the Biographies Board. Perhaps another case of what was said and what was heard was not sufficiently clear. This advisory is being provided for those of you who have been able to use the SOBC content posted to-date. It won't be there shortly. Bill Bost TXBELL Listowner _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Visit http://www.msn.com
