    3. Thanks for telling us Tom. I just found the book online at http://www.ihaonline.com/books/book22.htm The summary sounds quiet interesting. I'm going to check for it at the library. I'd like to see what the author reports for the counties in central Texas. ALICE DAVIDSON, who lived in Belton, Texas She wrote the Natl. Archives at one time (am unable to read date of letter) possibly in the 1920s or 1950s regarding HIRAM DAVID THACKER, my 3rd gr-grandfather. 1. [TXBELL-L] GARNAND
    2. Would like to hear from anyone who has information on Adam GARNAND born in VA around 1846 and married Pamelia Ann Louiza Brasher 8 Jan 1873 Platte Co MO. Known children are Leonora, May, Virginia and James. In 1880 Census they were in Bell Co, but on 1900 census they were in Grayson Co TX and it is believed they died there. On 1920 Grayson Co census Lou was in census under household of George W. Pitts and stated she was an Aunt. Adam was not on 1910 census so assumed he died between 1900 and 1910. Would appreciate any info on Adam, his wife and children. Please send to GGa5080796@aol.com. GiGi

    1. Re: [TXBELL-L] Index to Naturalization Records for Williamson County
    2. Hello Rebecca - This is good news that you spread in reference to The Index to Naturalization Records for Williamson County, Texas. Using my self as an example, there should be a good number that make use of it. I only wish that there was an URL that would l do the same for those who are hunting naturalizations in Bell County. It would be of great value. If there is please let me know. It seems that in order to find naturalization records of someone, you must first know the county it occurred in. Since I'm emailing let me ask, have you knowledge of any of the following one time residents of Bell County designated by surnames ? Yancy, Cockrum, Johnson, Berry, Fredricks, and Roth They were gathered around Holland. Good hunting, Tom Johnson TomJohn01@aol.com

    3. I am researching Rowena Bryan, died 1937, I think. Her two sons and a daughter are buried there as well. I am wondering if one of the sons' wife was also buried with him. That would be William Bryan who also died in the 30s, I think. The other two that are buried there are Cornelius Preston Bryan and Carrie Bryan. Thanks for your assistance. -----Original Message----- From: MGRAYSON98@aol.com [SMTP:MGRAYSON98@aol.com] Sent: Friday, November 19, 1999 9:20 AM To: TXBELL-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TXBELL-L] Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple I can't promise when I can get to it, but if you'll list the names of kin you think are in Hillcrest Cemetery, I will try and find them........
