    1. [TXBELL] Google.com Phone Search
    2. Bill & Gayle Cloud
    3. Google has implemented a new feature wherein a person can type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter and receive the complete listing for that number (name, address, etc.) along with a map to the house, with the house prominently identified with a red star supplied by something called Mapquest. This is not a hoax, as we tested it with our own information and that of the one parent still living...also that of several friends. Theoretically, it is possible to block the information by clicking on the telephone icon beside one's name. It supposedly takes about 48 hours to be completed. We intend to check frequently in the future to make sure that our data stays blocked! This is a very scary situation, as we see it, with alarming safety concerns. We do urge everyone to check the iformation for themselves and any loved ones...and to pass on the information to others to do the same. Bill and Gayle Cloud

    1. [TXBELL] Poor Farm Cemetery
    2. Frances Willess
    3. Thanks for posting the information about the Poor Farm Cemetery. I recognized one name on there, Mrs. M. L. Cooksey, as my grandfather's sister. She was Martha Lou Beasley, daughter of Joseph Newton Beasley and Rachel Dowdy. Martha married William Perry Cooksey, who died in Oklahoma in 1903. However, I don't believe Martha is buried in the Poor Farm Cemetery, although I did find her death in the Poor Farm records. Records of the Shiloh Cemetery in Coryell County show that she was buried there, and the body moved to the Killeen Cemetery when Fort Hood was built. There is no tombstone. Frances

    3. Jo Lancaster sent me this and I thought a lot of you might be interested. Jody Dilllard Jody I am sending it this to you, maybe someone will see it and find their relatives on the list. If you could put it on the Bell County web site, it might help, because I think they (DOT) are wanting to move the graves. My sis sent me a clipping from a newspaper, Belton, or Waco, not sure which paper it came out of. Dated 7 Sept, 2003, Sunday. It is found in the Legal Notices 0040. Public Notice It is from the Tx DOT concerning the cemetery that was part of the Poor Farm between Belton and Temple and north of Pepper Creek along I-35. It has a list of names of the folks buried there. They are looking for relatives or descendants. If anyone has knowledge of descendants from this cemetery they are to get ahold of Martha Doty Freeman; Prewitt and Association, Inc. 7701 N. Lamar, Suite 104. Austin Tx 78752. Do not know the page number, but I assume it is the classified Section. I know there has been emails on this cemetery before about DOT wanting to move the graves to other cemeteries or going around/over, but I have never seen names listed. I hope you can pass this along to our Bell County folks and/or surrounding areas. Looks like Harper 1887 is the oldest grave there, but as recent as Taylor 1962. The print in the newpaper is very small, need a magnifying glass. VR, Jo L in TN

Surnames: ADAMS, TINNIN, WOLF Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CkB.2ACI/1888 Message Board Post: Could anyone help me in finding the burial site for Sarah Adams Wolf who was born 29 Jul 1844 in AR and died on 30 Nov 1871 in Bell County. I do not know where she lived but her parents were still living in Precinct 7, Bell County for the 1880 census. They were John Quincy and Elizaeth Avarillo Tinnin Adams. Sarah's husband was Asa M. Wolf and they had two children a son, Urah Lee Wolf and a daughter, Georgia A. Wolf. I found a marriage record for Asa and a second wife, Myra Smith in Robertson County dated 1875. Asa and Myra had moved on to Coryell Colunty for the 1880 census and the two children were with them. I have no other data except that John Quincy Adams died in Coryell County in 1906, but I do not know when they moved on West. If the county cemeteries have been canvassed and there is a death record for Sarah Adams Wolf, I would appreciate the information. Contact [email protected]
